Our Founder & Visionary

Anthony Ray Gardner Jr. was born in Greenville, North Carolina, to Anthony Ray Gardner Sr. and Angela Gardner. He is the eldest of two children and a proud older brother to Antwan Gardner. He also shares a close bond with His older brother Tray Lewis, whose presence and support have remained constant throughout His journey. Known for His quiet strength, deep compassion, and creative talents, Anthony has overcome trials that many would never imagine — and continues to inspire through faith, leadership, and service.

In December 2013, Anthony was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma, a rare form of cancer. After enduring months of treatment and prayer, He was declared cancer-free in April 2014. His battle with illness not only shaped His testimony but also birthed a deeper calling to serve, uplift, and empower others walking through life’s hardest battles.

Anthony is a 2016 graduate of North Lenoir High School and a proud native of Kinston, North Carolina, where He continues to live with His family. He graduated from East Carolina University twice, earning His Bachelor of Science in University Studies in December 2023 and His Master of Arts in Adult Education in May 2025. In August 2025, He will begin pursuing His Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership, furthering His commitment to equipping, guiding, and empowering others through learning and legacy.

Widely recognized as The Future Dr. Gardner, Anthony is the Founder & Visionary Leader of ARGJ Ministries Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization rooted in prayer, biblical empowerment, and community outreach. Under its umbrella, He also serves as the CEO & Founder of F.A.I.T.H Organization Inc., a ministry-centered initiative focused on supporting youth and young adults—especially those impacted by cancer—through spiritual guidance, scholarship, and healing spaces.

Anthony continues to share His journey with transparency and grace, reminding others that their story isn’t over—and that even after pain, purpose still lives. His life is proof that what the enemy meant for harm, God can use for good.

He oversees the logistical planning of events, fundraising coordination, internal systems, and special projects, helping to ensure that each component of the ministry runs with excellence. As a trusted advisor, Cedric offers insight that strengthens both the day-to-day flow and long-term direction of ARGJ Ministries.
He is committed to advancing the vision with clarity and faith — and handles all aspects of ongoing ministry operations with professionalism and care.
